AmaDrop Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 2025

AmaDrop is a Chrome extension that helps you track Amazon product prices and get notified on drops.

Data Collection and Storage

AmaDrop does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All data (tracked products, prices, target prices, images, URLs) is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API (chrome.storage.sync).

If you are signed into Chrome, this data may be synced to your Google account for use across devices — this is handled entirely by Google, not by AmaDrop.

The extension does not have a server and does not send any data to third parties.

Data Accessed

AmaDrop reads Amazon product pages to extract:

This data is only used to provide the price tracking feature and is stored locally.

Third Parties

AmaDrop embeds price history charts from CamelCamelCamel (camelcamelcamel.com), a public service. No data is sent to them beyond the product ASIN in the chart URL.
